$600 for aluminum panniers? Fuck that, this cost me about $30, including aluminum, rivets, and steel for the rack.

Nice! I would've put the hinges on the front, but nice.

I like being able to reach into my bags without getting off the bike. You know, stop at a stop light and pull out sunglasses, maybe a sip of water, switch gloves real quick etc.

Plus, it's only a DR200, doesn't do much over 55, so no real danger of high speed openings

I've still got a few feet of .063, I think I'll be making a set for the Strom too, just because. It's only a few hours work.

I love homer and would love to have a raptor style or him but $550 for that style is just a bit too much for me!

I think he uses a press and some molds. The letters come from Jerry (he'd sell them to you for sure). I had thought about making a mold to do that style grill myself. But then I'd need a press :(

Mirror and frame. The main bit of the frame is rusted steel. The corners are copper with patina. The patina is a lot greener in person than the photo.

I've made quite a few of these frames in several variants, most of them as donations for action items. This one is going to a cancer benefit.

You win! Time to close the thread!

Looks like a motorcycle for Dwafs to me. No Legs, short torso and all arms.

Must have been a bitch to ride with your nknees in you face all the time. And one question. Did that thing have any rear suspension at all?

Art sometimes doesn't reflect reality!
