[/IMG]Homemade rivet squeezer. I made this to do the wing spar rivets for my plane. It's been super handy for squashing rivets as long as the piece fits in the yoke. Used it again today, in fact.... |

I have made more stuff than I can remember. Some of the things have been posted on here before, but I am feeling like showing off so I will post pics again....
Lots of kayaks, here are just a few 10 1/2 foot whitewater boat ![]() 18 foot single sea kayak ![]() 21 foot tandam sea kayak, really a pretty boat, no good pics of her though.. ![]() Carbon fiber fairings, aluminum skid plate, etc, etc for my Dakar. There was a thread in Thumpers about it awhile ago ![]() In the foreground is an open canopy and new turtle deck I made for my Pilatus B4. These fit the same as the original full canopy and turtle deck. Open cockpit flying is fun.. ![]() Turtle deck is carbon fiber and glass, canopy frame is carbon fiber and spruce. Installed on the plane ![]() I have made lots of aircraft stuff I never bothered to get pics of...custom wheelpants for a Stearman biplane, cowlings for: a re-engined Bucker Jungmeister, some kind of formula racer, RV-3. Tailcones for a couple of different planes etc. All kinds of furniture, cabinets, boxes etc... This is a little craft box built for my other half. It closes up neatly and she keeps all her paints and brushs in it. Very light so she can tote it down to the shop when I am working and back home when we are finished for the day. ![]() Boat for my other half, posted in dream boats thread sometime back. ![]() A little fish! I think I was bored in the shop waiting for glue to dry or something, anyway, lots of scrap laying around so I made this guy. There is a bunch of stuff like this around the house... ![]() Uhhh, I could probably do a couple of pages of stuff if I thought about it and could find all the pics. I keep thinking I should do a little website that was sort of like a portolio. I will not live long enough to build all the stuff I would like...the list is kinda long and getting longer. Eric
