thanks, that was the smaller size jack I could find. I was going to re-do the frame with steel now that I have a welder, but the wood is no showing any sing of fatigue.. :)

Took a piece of 4130 and bent on it for a while,
![]() cut and welded on it for a bit, ![]() powder coated it, ![]() and turned it into this.

If you are only pkanning on building a rack or two and don't need one that will last a lifetime you can get the chinese copies of that tool at Harbor Freight.
I have both a Rigid and the HF version. The Rigid was $90 and only works one size. But will last through daily use for years. The HF was about $6 and can do several sizes. But will break if I try to make a living with it. Found the link and it was cheaper than I thought. http://www.harborfreight.com/tubing-bender-3755.html Kinda hare to jutify $90 just to make one rack in my book. BTY, these work great for brake lines and soft metals. ( The reason I have one) But, I have a JD2 with most of the dies so I bend a lot of tubing with my investment, Thought I'd throw that out for you budget concious guys.
