pretty good deal on street legal RFS

Seems like a good deal (minus the time warp) .... assuming PC didn't screw things up.

He said the bike was all stock. KTMs too cheap to install real barkbusters on a $9000 bike so it either comes with none at all or the cheap all plastic ones . If the later, easy to break one.

I still hold the record for wheelie/crashing a mini-bike into parked cars in the Klamath Union High skool parking lot!

NO-one will ever take that one away from me!

Not necessarily, but in the same way that rat rod has come to mean "I started this project, but then realised I could neither weld nor paint, and have no design or engineering skills to speak of", streetfighter has come to mean "I crashed my bike and can't afford to repair it".

MZ, baby!

Baghira Baby...

MZ Baghira for sale in Shelton, Washington:

http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/mcy/1792533933.html

I'm not sure why the MZ bikes are still so relatively cheap - they've always seemed pretty sane and well-made to me.

As a dual-sport, the Baghira makes sense, it's lighter (and cheaper) than an F650, has some motard features without being too agressive or tweaky, while not being nearly as 'agricultural' as a KLR.

No mileage given, but it does look fairly straight in the pictures:

Cheers

Jim

**edit**

SORRY Withham Wannabe, didn't see you'd already linked to this posting - but hey, two thoughts with but a single brain ain't bad ....

Here's a little cream puff. Maybe take the 500cc motor out of that little tractor and graft it into this bike.

Good to know they are $900ish when in that kind of shape... Mine will never be quite that nice however.

When checking eBay I noticed they go for a lot more than they seem to on Craigslist.

As for motor-grafting, the Lfian 138cc is the obvious choice. :)

Friend of mine picked one up for $750 and quickly sold it on ebay for $2,200 to a collector

Smokin' crack in Gresham, as usual.
I thought this was for "finds".

I guess if it's for 'iffy' ..... http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/mcy/1782605277.html

"lost title" ..... "needs new ignition switch" ...... excellent

This could possibly be a good deal for $750 for your girlfriend/so. Good inseam challenged bike. Big IF given lack of pics. Maybe odo a broken cable ..... or it could be a fiasco .... seller sounds clueless.
