LOL - don't think I saw it in the fleamarket - but it's interesting - just wondering if it was an inmate or if someone had details on the bike... although I like the way you think. [/little johnnie joke]

Back in the day one of my running buddys had a Bultaco , not sure what model. Once you got it running you'd have to let the clutch out to see which way the motor was running. Sum-bitch would run backwards. Of course we'd add to our respective scar tissue collections by sitting on the handle bars and trying to ride backwards.

in them days,,almost any 2 smoke would run backwards,,on/off switch, magneto,no relays,no ignition, no battery,,,greeves, ossa, CZ, maico, montessa, and as old as I am,,AJS,,,kill it on a hillclimb,,then OH! Shit! ring-da-ding-ding,,becomes gnid-gnid-ad-gnir!
even some of the later Yamaha enduros would run backwards.
maybe I need a little smoky bike,,just for a little while.
Like you always said, why the need for the second childhood when the first one ain't done yet!

That's funny, Kenny and I were sitting on the porch today drinking a beer and laughing about that very thing. He had a friend that killed the motor on a hill climb and the bike started running, backwards down the hill Very Fast down the hill.

You should see the bridge he is going to build. Rectangular tubing, 40' span, laid down flatways

He needs you to kick some sense into him.

Had a Eagle Talon TSI AWD Turbo (same DSM body & Mitsu motor);
New through 160k miles.
Died an overworked motor death, and sold the heap that was left over for $600.
Today,,.......that car has had over 20k spend on it, over 400hp put into it,
and I WANT IT BACK !!!!!

Well, I guess HIS car was a POS. It had been stolen and recovered. But not before the thief bent the rims by driving over a curb and stole most of the sound system save for the speakers in the dash.

Aaah those were good times for me.
