2000 BMW R1150GS - $3100 (Multnomah Village)

2000 BMW R1150GS 122K miles with Ohlins shocks, bmw hard bags, heated grips, Pia lights, wind screen, 11 gallon tank and day long seat. Everything works. New starter. Run well, ABS seems to be in good condition, bearing are tight, final drive works well. Starts, runs, drive and stops well. I bought this bike a few weeks ago and then decided to buy a newer bike set-up the way I wanted. Priced to sell. Just don't need two GS's in the garage.
It didn't come with any records so I have spent the pack few weeks going through things. Didn't uncover any surprises.

This was the bike I was selling a few weeks ago. This guy bought it from me.

Interested parties can PM if they need details.

I spent 7 weeks marketing the bike on ADV and Craigslist at ever-lower prices to get it sold. I am surprised so many people are calling it a "good deal;" where were you guys a month ago?

Thought it was a good deal then and a good deal now. Still don't have an extra $3000 laying around. Like you, if I'm a buyer on a Craigslist find, I'm not a poster of the "find".

99' sherco 2.9 - 2500

price keeps going down on this Sherco. Still too high but the seller sounds willing to deal though. http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/mcy/4377694163.html

Not sure how you can call a bike that has been in production for close to 30 years RARE, but whatever floats his boat.

Even if the battery died, who cares...put in 3rd, rock forward gently and dump the clutch. These things bump start easy.

square headlights are part of a socialist agenda created in the 80's to begin convincing Americans to give up their identities and conform to rigid structure. Everyone must see straight lines, no exception. even cars were boring square boxes. Round headlights were for hippie dissinters, the non conformists who would lead this nation into ruin.... and stuff.
