All my girlfriends knew I rode when we started out, and were ok with it. Mrs1911fan rode when I met her, which is a part of how we met.
My ex-wife hated motorcycles. Hated 'em. I mean, really hated 'em. We'd be out hiking someplace and a couple would go by, and she'd rant for several minutes about how much she hated motos, and I'd be "Well I want that Husqvarna!" I rode all the time during our relationship. Which she also hated.
After our divorce she got talked into a ride on the back of a guy's new Harley, and he put it in the ditch and really broke her ankle, in a stupid low-speed U-turn.
Thousands of dollars and a lot of rehab later, not to mention suing dipshit for expenses and lost work time, (he turned out to have no insurance) I bet she hates 'em a lot worse.
Said dipshit, during all this, told her that he had no money and then posted on Facebook about buying another new $40,000 Harley, and bragged he paid cash. Helped her a lot in court. Judge: "Sell the bike and pay her bills." BANG of gavel.

Haven't talked to her in years.

And that is why I hope Facebook never goes away.

If you don't want to buy the bike of a bad husband, perhaps you can buy the bike of "a disobedient son"

Oh man, that brings back memories...
My old man sold ALL the bikes after I tried to outrun the cops when I was 14.
I happened to be joyriding his. At 2am.

"Suzuki DRZ 400 barely us"
I'm sure they meant "used", but a Freudian slip perhaps?
Time to sell the broad, not the bike.

I was lucky, when I was 15 and talking about cars I was told "why don't you get a motorcycle like your cousin Kenny, they are cheaper then cars" (Dad didn't ride at the time but did quite a bit in his younger years, and a lot of Moms kin rode). So my first "car" was a Suzuki TS185, all was good until I got about $600 worth of tickets on it in one stop (the 2 big ones were riding in a public park and attempting to elude). Dad said "I don't know how you'll pay for this, guess you'll have to sell your bike"
But I got lucky and some of the charges were dropped and got community service..........I was just happy that I got to keep my bike

Ha! I had to do community service in the Waterbury Center, VT public library. I am VERY familiar with the Dewey Decimal System.
It's a great story. Next time I see you I'll have to share

Psycho Lime Green Bobber only $10.5k

What do you suppose the riding experience is like on this?

I thought this was Bat Shit Crazy Green, no Psycho Green.

I know nothing about that genre of bikes. Does that thing not have a front brake?

Riding experience? I could imagine you would suffer some substantial hearing loss in your right ear just before you do a rear-wheel skid into the car in front of you.

Me and best bud sat in the back of an L.O. police car after riding/berm-shotting our bikes in the aluminum 50 meter pool under construction on Mountain Park. Let us go, we got to keep our bikes.

Dad used to say "buy your son a motorcycle for his last birthday."
