Same seller tried to sell that thing for months last year. Am guessing that it needs more than just the 'minor issues' he lists in the ad.

My buddy rolled 110k before he sold his. It sounds way cheap but may be worth a look by a BMW wrench.

Expect to spend a lot of money on tires and tickets.

For a bike with 60k miles and a bunch of electrical issues, 2 grand is " cheap"? I don't care what the badge says that bike is in need of some serious attention prior to being reliable.

For a guy with some skills who wants that particular bike, maybe... But take it to a shop you could easily be another grand...

Way to many "easy" fixes. That is always my sign to run away. If the guy won't fix the easy stuff I always wonder if it has had any maintenance done at all.

From the ad:

It does need a new crush washer on the drain plug for the oil
Quote:
These are relatively minor issues that I just didn't have the money to fix.
My commentary:
How can he afford to put gas in it if he can't afford a new crush washer for the drain plug?

It's a bmw crush washer. I would worry about any vehicle where the oil level may have been comprimised
