That this one is plated may be a big plus in WA, since the state is getting VERY nasty about plating 70-80's 'dirt bikes' - so having a plate may help.

OTOH, while it does have head and tail lamps ('light' is too strong a word ...) they're strictly of the 'HAIKU' variety - as in:

This one was in my garage this weekend. It's my friends and it is in great shape.

Seems like a great start to a Naked Strom project

Ahhh..never read the whole ad....funny you should say that, Del, because I just spent the last 2 hours removing an old toilet and temporarily installing a new one. So poop yes, cow, no.

Got any better pics than the ones I gleeped from CL? It surely does look decent:

And AWShouse pointed out that I had a YAIM (Yet Another Idiot Moment) attack and failed to post the link for this neat old bike - still listed on Seattle CL here:

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcy/1720104923.html

It's even in my old stomping grounds, Darkest Ballard .... Maybe it will be at Backfire Night tomorrow?

Fair warning - Spanish bikes from the '70's were sort of like Polish Democracy in the '30's - pretty to look at, noisy as heck, but if you used them hard, bits and pieces would goi flying off in clouds of smoke until the Germans marched in and took over.

My Bultaco Metralla made a BSA 441 Victor seem reliable and easy to start - 'nuff said.

Cheers

Jim
