The very same kind who thinks his decrepit old Beemer is worth like 80 million dollars. I love the classics and believe they're worth preserving, but sheesh! What's with all the old Beemers flopping around on CL for more money than I would EVER consider paying for someone else's used old ride?

The reason they are flopping around is they are overpriced. The bargains sell same day or so.

Even without a plate, they're awesome bikes. Someday I'll get another. It was one of the few bikes I regret selling.

Agreed! I bought my K75 the same day dude posted the ad, and I was the first guy to go see it. price was right, bike was right, We were done.

When I sold my XJ a few weeks back, same deal. I had the ad up for less than a day, money in hand before sundown, and the kid was the first to come see the bike.

"SIGH!"

So many pharmacies, so little time .... stuff like this makes me reconsider my life of crime.

Cheers

Yumbo Dakar 200 With Extras: A 2007, black in very good condition. This day, with all the papers in order. SOA has, mandatory insurance and Green Card (to cross into Brazil or Argentina) paid up to May 2011. The extras include: A Town Rush almost new, a tube of lubricant, a team of rain, a large padlock, more elastic, and a pair of boots (if you want). The bike has 9500km, 5900km of those are on the road. Doing very well in the city and on the road. The selling it because I have to return to the United States. Only cash, no barter. Do not hesitate to ask.

Not Craigslist, but roadside in an out of the way part of NE.

Was free.

$50 for a propane tank and 30 minutes cleaning\fixing it, and it works great.

I feel very lucky! Even came with a cover.

Nice find!

Of course I am shocked that you would pay $50 for a propane tank when they are $15 on CL all the time. But that's OK. Nice to know you are human.

Heck, here's one for free, 3/4 full.
