I love threads like this (as long as we keep posting pictures and not talking). I could look at these bikes all day.

There's one category of dirt bikes that we haven't covered, flat track. Very American and the mother of dirt bike racing. If you've ever sat at the end of the straight at San Jose and felt a pack of these come at you...

My first race bike, 71 DKW 125, from the Owen Collection (great source of classic dirt bikes, btw). I raced District 38 Desert and Baja with one just like this. Weighed about 200 lbs. (the bike, not me).
