In other tiger news, I spoke with Rick at Cogent yesterday about my tiger forks, which is will be working on next week. Some valving work, new springs, and some lowering is in order. He recently completed some work on a Tiger 800 - which apparently has similarly configured forks.

My new LiFePO4 battery is on the way. I chose a single battery with slightly less cca than Jack's dual setup.

Excellent news Jack.

T and I met at Twinnys this morning for breakfast. I feel one million times better than I did before. I get cranky when I haven't ridden a motorcycle in a while. And it had been a while - almost a week. Thanks Tom.

Also tried out my pre-christmas present - SPOT Gen 3.

Twinnys for breakfast; always a winner.

On the return I decided to check out Blackbird Forest.
Hmmm.....looks like some KLR tracks.

Nice site with all the amenities.

Hell, someone here even rides their Dresser to work.

Might be a potential DDB camp-n-ride.

Went for a little ride this afternoon, stopped and snapped a picture just after the KLR clicked over to 10K miles.

I'm pretty sure that thing would pull your trailer without a problem.
