2 Loops out of Primm, NV. (Red Rock Canyon & a portion of Mojave Rd.)

I went out this weekend and laid down some tracks for a ride I'll be hosting with the San Diego Adventure Riders in January.......the loops both days are ~140 miles and both days have a mix of challenging and easy sections......nothing overly difficult, but that's coming from a guy who rode his "cheater" bike (WR250R)......you'll be pretty tired out if you ride a ADV bike on either of these loops.......I would definitely call it more of a dualsport ride than an ADV ride.....nuff said...

Some rocks/sand/whoops are unavoidable......and the Mojave Rd. section has a lot of sandy trail in it.......that's just part of the deal, accept it/embrace it ..........but I've also inserted a few bailout waypoints and some "cheat/bypass" tracks which I DO NOT recommend but I want folks to know there are options to bail/bypass some of the whoops/rocks/sandy trails if they're running late/tired/or just looking for a shorter/mellower ride.....

Fuel ranges between gas stops (unsupported) - Day one ~95 miles, Day two ~110 miles

We left both days around 7am, explored above and beyond what you see in this track file, stopped to eat, and still managed to get back around 3-3:30

Chris,

Thanks so much for posting what looks like a great ride and a very good time. Just want to say that we appreciate the time, energy and organization it takes to pull those rides off.

Was that you on the land yacht? I saw those guys having a ball out on the dry lake bed on my way home. Looks like fun.

No thanks necessary....my contributions are minor compared to guys like Countdown........I enjoy creating the tracks and sharing them with my fellow "adventurers"......all public access stuff/no secret single track......better to spread the wealth/joy than horde it and see more areas get closed......get out there and ride it/keep the areas open for all!!

Yep, that's me on the "Land Yacht" ......very cool of the guy to let me take it for a "sail".......I went out a ways and stalled out since I turned into the wind instead of away from it......I may be an adventurer but I'm no sailor (obviously )

Thanks Chris.

Hey I rode your Fonts point loop the friday after thanksgiving. It was a lifesaver, Ocotillo Wells was packed but once we got into Fault wash we saw no one!

I saved these tracks, now I have a reason to go to Primm!
