For me, the amount of acohol needed to improve my looks exceeds the lethal limit. I keep hoping they legalize pot so women would have another option for increasing their poor judgement enough to find me desirable.

Guess we need to all go to Amsterdam, where pot is legal. We would all look better. Or so we would think we do. Besides the legal hookers do not care...

Never been there, I hear its nice

From a Legal point of view, legalizing and taxing has many advantages. Most dope dealers do not want it legalized

Bosque / Hamilton Counties

Whats up fellow ADVers? A buddy of mine and I are heading to Hamilton and Bosque Co's tomorrow. I'm sure we'll be doging rain but thats ok. You guys had much rain or expecting tonight/tomorrow? Anyone in that area shed some light on the road conditions? Theres so many good looking roads on the map, can anyone narrow it down to 4 or 5 "must do's". We'll be on bikes with Anakee's so no major mud is prob best otherwise...

what chu got?

Thanks gents.

FYI, Llano Co hasn't had much rain this week so roads are perfect, no dust, minimal mud.

RR 152 out of Llano is very nice. Of course Hwy. 16 this time of year is a must do. Park Rd. 4 around Inks Lake is also great. But hey, it shows you are in Llano, so you should know these and other great roads. Are you new to the area?? If so, head out in any direction and it will be great.

Hey J-Ball...our ranch is half way from Lampasas to Hamilton and relatively near beautiful downtown Evant. The weather for the next couple of days is going to be iffy and hard to call. Check out 1047 North out of Star and then 2005 on into Hamilton. These are paved and in great country. Give me a couple of days notice the next time you guys head this way and I'll show you a few of my favorite trails/FMs.

Why that's my home turf! Have you looked at Centex ADV Shutterstop? I have posted a lot of pics of local roads. Do you like water??? Lots of scenic water crossing! Bosque CR3137 is one of the toughest county roads in Texas that I have rode. I rode it tuesday on my GSA. I might be able to break away tomorrow afternoon.

Hey Foto, thanks for the reply. I was asking about Bosque and Hamilton Counties actualy. Yep, Llano is quiet purdy this time of year. Lots of people out looking at flowers etc. Kinda dangerous actually. Last weekend with all the picture taker, pirates and BMW riders I heard of at least 5 moto crashes and that was just by Saturday night. Prob mostly drunk pirates haulin ass down the back roads if I had to guess.

Hey Ghost, sending out prayers and good vibes to Mrs. Ghost. All will be well.

That pic of 3137 looks great. We're not on the best DS bikes. My buddys on a 650 GS with Anakees which is fine, but he lacks dirt roading experience. I'm on a total odd ball, an MZ Skorpion Tour with Anakee's (see my avatar). I know, I know... but I run up and down Click Route (Llano CR 315) often with no worries...except the creek when it's more than normal. Wish I could take my XT350 up to Bosque for these roads...maybe next time.

Any thing with too gnarly of water crossings may not work out for us, otherwise we're simply not smart enough to turn around...

A lot depends on road conditions/water levels when we get there I guess.

3137 is steep, loose, and slick where the water runs out of the side. I run it on Anakees but I would not recomend for someone without dirt experience. 4250 back to 224 is not too bad unless we get a lot of rain today. I crossed 224 and it is only 6 inches deep and hard packed gravel. No step offs or moss. Watch for moss on all other concrete crossing.
