They have lakes up there too! Park the GSA on the boat on the trailer and haul everything up there.

Out of the blue I added to the stable today...or maybe graveyard....from a back yard in Clifton I found an old K75 with lots of parts...can it be resurectted???? Not sure. It has not been ran since 2004.

First a KLX now this...is it Christmas

Will post some pics up later...it is not a cream puff but not horrible either.

I doing the "Beyond Epic" ride with Texas Adventure riders. We meet in Clarksville AR Sat morning and ride Sat, Sun and return Monday.

Well....I've decided to head up to AR this weekend.I wasn't expecting to go at first....but can see a few days away will be good now.Prob the only chance for a trip (cept for the rally) this fall. Weather looks like it's gonna be great! I know the roads are...

I actually called Mr2mch to see if he wanted to share costs there and he told me he had hooked up with you. Could not talk BigdaveGS into going. My son and his wife now appear to be doing something with her parents so I may wander west.

Its cooler up north and the roads are "beyond Epic" There are still rooms in the inn.

Ghost, I have been out of the picture for a while; however, I am open to ride this weekend. I can go to Arkansas or west, it does not matter to me. I can leave Friday after 5:pm and come back Monday. I'll pm with my number. I can camp or stay at hotel.

Hey Mud! What did you end up buying? I think you told me once before, but that was a while ago.

Arkansas is nice and cool, The roads are excellent, the dirt is tough, and the hotel is inexpensive. The Texas Hill Country is good too, but its going to be warmer there. Right now, Clarksville AR is forecast to have highs in the mid 80's. If you guys make it up, let me know. I think you both have my cell number.

I bought a Suzuki DR650SE 05. Took it to Colorado and Moab during the summer and it performed wonderfully. It can do pretty much anything I want it to do. It is decent on pavement and awesome on dirt, rocks, and some sand. I need to change the suspension though, which I am waiting on for SLM Racing to find out what I exactly need. It was good talking to you this morning. Arkansas is looking good. I was going to go a couple of weeks ago to Talahina but the temperatures changed my mind.
