^^^^^We wandered and squandered the day away.

Sorry your week-end took a bad turn (or 3). Your pope-mobile looks great, though.

Ankle is no problem. Just tweaked a bit. I'd have ridden Sunday with an ace bandage if anybody had been riding. It would have hurt on up-shifts but that's it.

Its the new HD dualsport! Of course a true pirate would have done that in blue jeans, a leather vest, and a do-rag.

Further proof that its all about the rider, not the bike.

The guy made it look easy.

I was referring to CTOR. It's just west of Salado on FM2484. There's plenty of single track, killer hill climbs, and some goat trails that will make you regret thinking you could handle them. More riding than most humans can handle in a day.
It's membership only but they have open house days in addition to group days - i.e. TORCH was out there last weekend and anyone could attend. Just keep an eye on the TWT and/or TON forums. For some reason the CTOR website has been down the past few weeks. And... Hell no! No plates necessary if you trailer there.
If you really want to get your single track fix then Go Racing! There are plenty of great clubs in north central Texas.

Thanks for th info. I will investigate and probably pursue, but I still need a riding buddy.- so they can document my falls and visa versa. Im retarded and just too old to be competative. What thread at TWT does this info get put in? Thats where Ill start. Not to mention R&R one of my three very old bike trailers.

Can I Still do This?

OMG Biggy. These shots take me back to the good old days. It looks like a combo of Colo---edge of the Cap rock and Mich trails rolled into one. I even remember fondly the day the three of us went up a 30 degree hiking trail in Colo---more wrestling than riding but a bone tiring day all the same. Of course you and I need some "BEANS" to pull us up those hills. When I dropped down to 175 cc from 400 cc I had to push--- Not gonna happen today! great picts. BTW, How many different websites do you moniter. Im on here way too much and I find Cen Tex ADVer all over everywhere. Help!!! so little time.

to Slow Old Guy

Neat . But why would you want to make the best M/C you could make when you know its gonna weigh 400 lbs and be torque deprived and underpowered?. A great exercise in engineering though.

Actually, he said they just jumped a 257 kg motorcycle, so that comes out to be around 565 lbs............
