Howdy all, new to the forum, just returned to DFW (the FW part specifically) after many, many moons. Bought myself a GSA as well (now I need to learn to ride it worth a damn). Come from a crotch rockety background, with some dirt experience, but that was back in stone ages. Anyway figured I'd say yo.

Welcome. Got a couple fellas from Foat Wuth. I'm sure they'll be along soon enough.

You should plan on coming down for the Hico pie run. Meet some good decent respectable folks. Some of the folks I hang with will be there, too. But nobody will confuse the two groups. lol

Uhhh.... Details? I didn't pay much attention. I can't eat pie and don't cotton to camping.

Not this weekend but next. Koffee Kup in Hico. Pie . Mostly Two Wheeled Texas folks. But some ADV inmates, too. There will be camping. Probably both Friday and Saturday night. Somewhere reasonably close to Hico. Meridian State Park was mentioned.

Ghost is planning on torturing some city folks....I mean "lead a pleasant mostly dirt ride".

Someone will post a link. I am on my phone and ain't bright enough to do that from here.

Damn you're up early, Pizza. For a city feller.

There is also a specific Hico Pie-run thread and Hico Pie-run camping thread.

I can't plan anything until those supervisory people tell me what my schedule is.

Sucks. My own schedule will improve when they move me to burgers instead of fries.

Caveman, where exactly are the un-sweaty parts of Texas? :loll

Two Wheeled Texans does the pie run and you've already been shown the link.

The Tarrant Co riders also get together and eat every Tuesday night somewhere. Its a mixed group of just about everything and all ages. Also the Johnson county people get together monthly and eat. That's tonight this month. You can find the thread on TWT in the planning a ride section.

All the good local riding (IMHO) is down toward these guys. The posters in this thread are anywhere from Austin to DFW with the greatest number in the Greater Waco area.

So welcome and look forward to meeting you.

Sure I remember you and especially that purty purty bike.

And that was a nephew. Just can't remember which one . But no matter, they are both fast. Whichever one, he has gone all darkside on us. He's all dirt for now. Come see us.
