Hello from Big Bend Natl park. Got a room at the hotel thing inside the park. Somebody was a no-show and I was there at the right time. Now the bad news: spring break is an awful time to visit the Bbnp. Apparently it's bring your slow-ass moving vehicle and park them on the curvy roads to frustrate motorcyclists week. I knew I was in trouble when I pulled off to run down Old Maverick road and was greeted by a 1/2 dozen vehicles going the other way. It's bad when there is a traffic jam on a dirt road. I think I saw a Prius on there too. The Ross Maxwell road was even worse. By the time you passed one slow moving RV, you'd catch the next one within a mile. So I'm heading out of here early and running 170 and Pinto Canyon into Marfa. Hopefully the RV set will be up late tonight talking about how many motorcyclists they screwed over.

Hey, where is that prada storefront?

I've tried to turn on the stalker mode you so can see where I am.

Any first gen KLR with a bright light has an aftermarket light kit. I think the first KLRs used a candle inside the headlight.

My guess is that we should just pick an arrival time at Loco and work backwards from there. I gotta think 11 or 2 and we might get served but I dunno. What say the Loco pros?

When I've gone Loco on Staurdays...folks were gettin there around 11-11:15 to hang out until they opened at Noon. I'm guessin their hours are the same as before.....
(& later is usually NOT better as far as rib quantity remaining, but sometimes the ribs aren't ready until sometime after 1PM... This time might be different though.
