If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.

Those boulders in the background look very Llano County-esque don't they? Can't wait for Odie's ride impressions coming off his KLR to Dangerboy's bike.

You guys ever been on 'Carl's Pass' in Llano county? Not sure what was going on, there was a sign posted to take it to get to another CR. we followed and it was awesome; loose rocks, washes, baby ledge. But it just kind of ended at a house, we couldn't find a way through. If we do, it would become a go to road for sure. 315 was dry as a bone. We did meet a interesting dude on a plated KTM dirt bike though.

First ride on the new ride.

Firstly thanks to Danger Boy he did an incredible job setting this bike up.

Other than the ride home from the dealer this is the first real ride on the bike. Shady and I managed just over 400 miles today out and about. The bike runs great, rides awesome. Huge difference from the KLR. Looking forward to many miles. Got a lil' bit of everything to include soaked to the bone. Good ole' Texas weather it cleared up in a hurry.

Ghost I'll PM you about the KLR

Odie

Not as nice as an Apache but hey..they paid me to go
The pilot has 30 years as rotor pilot ferrying folks all over. He owns a Jetranger that will be used to hunt hogs in the near future....Thats right...Ghost got wings for his guns
A shot of the farm from 500 feet...

I will have to admit it was a bit disconcerting in the drafts...welcome to Texas in the summer time

Hmmm...never tried that one. G Earth and Mapsco show it runs from Hwy 16 to 71 and Valley Springs. Were ya'll heading E to W? Looks like it loops back up to Cherokee as well.

Yeah, E to W. Great road, going to look it up and try to figure out where it went wrong, if it did at all.

CR414 on Gmap shows to be called Freeman rd. Then 414a heads further NW toward Cherokee.
