Nope. Just rained for less than ten and then gone. Nothing behind it but clear skies to the west.

What's happening?

Interesting ride to work weather around here. Only a few weeks ago I was using the electric vest in the a.m. and the rain gear coming home as it would surely insulate me from the lightening bolts. Beat yesterday's downpour by 10 minutes. When/where is the next ride/gathering? Anyone riding hill country west of Leander area on a Sun or Monday ever? I'm officially a Texan now. Even bought a home in Hutto and moved down from CO last week. So much for those of you who bet on me leaving TX within 7 days of our bash at Ghost's back in April. I'm still skeered of hot weather though, and found a snake in my new workshop on day 1.

I was in the dealership on Saturday and didn't see you. I asked if you were still around or had been scared off. Heard you were just moving your stuff down. Glad that is all taken care of. Yep, April weather finally showed up. Get used to heat and humidity for until Sept. Actually, the mornings won't get bad until June/July timeframe and they start getting nice again in Sept. What gets me is the humidity. Spent way too much time in AZ where sweat actually cools you off.

Yeah, we use the weather in July and August to scare off the fringe element. Think how bad the traffic would be if it was 80 year round here...

Did not realize how easy it was to become a Texan... I always thought it took about 25 years of living in the greatest state in the Union.... Welcome, regardless. You will love when October comes around, trust me.

Moving here will never make a person a Texan. Their grandkids might be if they're raised here.

Great day for a ride. Started rain at Dublin when the gravel run began. Down thru Edna Hill and 360 to Gustine, 250 to 2486 to 218 into Hamilton, as it was coming down heavier. 225 between 1602 and 219 had water completely across the road in a bunch of places.

LC ribs were great after they rode back to Granbury. The little Lady is happy so I may get to ride again.
