Maybe not "pointless"... "entertaining" perhaps... but it is mostly the soundtrack and engine noise that gives the sense of "speed"... turn the volume off and watch it...

"Handy"...? ok I'll give you the freestyle "sit on the tank" stuff and a couple of the "creeper" balance wheelies were kind'a trick... but speed/pace/handling wise - like richo referred to - the thing actually goes no faster across the ground, than a (very) average trailbike. If someone went by at that pace on a XT 225... you wouldn't bat an eyelid! It's the engine noise and all the throwing rocks about the place that make it seem "cool" (quick).

What part is bullshit? Use it or lose it. Doctors told me I would walk with a limp for the rest of my life. They were wrong. Doctors told me to shave with a electric shaver because of the drugs I take. I shave with a razor. Doctors told me a blow to the body would give me internal bleeding and a knock to the head would give me a Brain Hemorrhage. Again due to the drugs, I crash dirt bikes for fun.

I can totally see what was going on with this guy. the knee braces, back brace and canes were doing the work that his body should have been. The body will find the easy way out every time. the weight he was carrying was also having a huge impact. What you see in that vid is he lost the weight and rebuilt the muscles. No miracle, nothing amazing just a LOT of work and pain, with a great result at the end.

So..... Should I drink less so my liver doesn't have to work as hard and becomes lazy, or should I triple my intake so it has to pull it's weight?

I have a theory. If i totally abuse my body with massive alchohol intake and junk food, it toughens up to handle it. So now i can drink heaps, eat crap and my body is built for it. If i treated my body well, ate healthy all the time, as soon as i eat junk food my body wouldn't know what to do and probably collapse… Best i keep drinking lots i reckon to stay strong..
