Vicarious Thrill

Like everyone I dug on the read. I've got the attention span of a fly but read the whole thing from start to finish in one day. I wouldn't have been able to handle waiting a year. I've done lots of < 1 week trips including New Mexico, Yosemite and many other places you mentioned.

Ever since the economy took a crap, I've been wanting to simplify my life and just take with me whatever I can carry on my bike - destination unknown. I'm going to do this. It's been my lifelong goal. I've went to ADVRider just to dream.

For now I'll live vicariously through your tales. Keep riding and writing.

PS, I may have to opt for a little sportier ride.

RZ Rob

Reading this makes me realize what I long to do with the rest of my life. If i had the time and money I'd be off on my little '78 honda hawk heading straight into the western sunset. I never ever have had a love for the west since my last trip. Now i may not be old enough to ride alone but that is what parents are for. thanks for sharing your trip. really.

Does anyone have a link to Kerncountykid's "When Were You Young" video montage. Tried the search function in Ride Reports to no avail.

It was so awesome.
