RIP Tony... I don't know if he juiced or not, but his home runs were epic!

Epic homers? Juiced?

He had over 3K hits and only 135 of those were homers. Not epic or juiced.

RIP Tony Gwynn.

And only struck at each at bat in ONE game of his 20 year career. Best hitter since Ted Williams!

Absoluty one of the finest human beings on the face of the planet. Maybe the best pure hitter of his generation...no, I take that back...he was the best pure hitter of his generation.

As a die hard baseball fan on the West coast I had the opportunity to watch him play many times and was a huge fan of his.

Growing up in SD until the early 90's, I saw TG in many games and have seen and felt the impact of his life into my own family. Hell, I named my dog after him. He was a man dedicated to perfection, intensely focused on his craft, hardened by effort and compassionate by heart. NEVER had I heard something negative about TG. Seeing his accomplishments is breathtaking. Take a look at the middle of his career: Simply Amazing!

On a side note, my local Seattle Mariners are playing the Pads tonight. They put on a beautiful tribute for Tony. I cried my eyes out.

#19 Thanks for your smiles and laughter. Oh, and all those hits too.

Oh, and Jamming, not just a generation - It's multiple!

I apologize for my seriously misinformed PUI posts above. I don't know which Tony I was thinking of, but it wasn't him, obviously...
