Hummm...maybe, but I know a GoreTex certified plant in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, but then again, Harbour Grace is a world renown mega-city

Klim themselves, at their Rigby location is a Gore licensed manufacturer. At least they used to be. They made ski gear.

Not sure why people keep comparing this to the Durban.. everything I read about the Durban says it has a removable GoreTex Liner,, not a Goretex Pro outer shell. While I still think the price for the KLIM is outrageous, it is certainly a step above the Durban.

WTF is wrong with some folks on here.?? You don't like Klim don't buy it.. don't read this thread and and don't drop the F bomb here either...

Posts have been punted and a vacation issued..

Regarding "outrageous" price, what's reasonable to some is outrageous to others.. Someone at work asked me how much I paid for my bike.. I told her and she looked at me all puzzled and said "you can buy a car for that much".. so obviously to her the price of my bike is outrageous... to me, that's what I wanted and that's the price I was willing to pay... I'm sure this analogy stands true for this suit... or even most of our bikes' prices when compared to an entry level car...

It just goes to show you in living color, how we all can get a little locked into our own view of the world. Even in this very narrow area of riding motorcycles....adventure style!!

I'm approaching the four-month mark since I ordered these pants (to go with the jacket I already have)... it's good to see that they're at least now in the States. Now it should only be another two-weeks...

Should have ordered from Brian @ Atomic Moto (Brtp4)!!!!!

He sent me shipping confirmation yesterday that I will have my tall pants at my door on Monday! Finally, a matched set!

I can't say enough great things about what wonderful customer service Brian provides. I've never experienced it before. I would have thought nobody could care as much about my order as me, but *he* does! He has answered my questions about fit and delivery honestly, completely, and quickly. His pricing for inmates is also really good! On a scale of 1-10.....he's an 11.

At the time I ordered mine most places were out of stock in my size, but I found one place that claimed they still had my size. I went with them and got a fair price (10% off). When I didn't get an email confirmation they had shipped, I then found out they were back-ordered (like everyone else) so I just let it ride and decided to wait. They were suppose to arrive in mid-December. In mid-December I then heard it'd be mid-January. Mid January, I heard... and so it went. I believe the place I ordered mine from are on the east coast, so now I can wait for them to travel back and forth across the US before they make it to my doorstep. Had I had hindsight, I would have ordered from Atomic Moto. If something goes wrong I will try Brian.

I was listening to the podcast with him talking gear etc etc... seemed a well versed guy that actually rides and cares about the customers and knows what they need/want instead of the places that have people working for them that would ask...KTM? Hmm who makes that? LOL dont laugh, my insurance person asked that. My response Todd R makes it, he signed it under the seat too, wanna see?
