Or maybe these are the first steps into the Adventure-Touring market and they realise that 99% of us in that category aren't wearing a Leatt collar, but do want the waterproofness and the toughness of the Adventure Rally jacket's skin.

+1 for those who don't ride with a leatt...touring and some DS riding....those who want quality without over kill! I am very intrigued!

MAYBE someone should start a BADLANDS thread so that will give the KLIM reps lurking around her incentive to comment on that thread instead of hijacking this one??? Just a thought!

I went for a ride in the pouring rain yesterday on my XR400 just to try the pants out. Had waaay too much fun acting like a complete moron riding around on the street. Knobbies, pouring rain and an XR400 = the best kind of trouble!!

Oh, and the pants kept me completely dry. (I already have tested the jacket extensively.)

Picked up a new suit Friday at Revzilla. Pants had to be ordered from Klim as they did not have my size in the lighter color.

Looks to be very well made and fits very nicely on my 2xl frame. Pants shipped that same day from Klim and should be here on Friday. I spent 3 hrs at Revzilla trying on all the there top notch gear. The fact is that unless you have a trim build, you are not going to get in the European clothing. I am a 2xl guy and all my stuff are sized at 2xl, the equivalent in European is a 4xl, which is not readily available. This suit will replace a Stich and a BMW Santiago suit.

Yea its a boat load of money, but I paid 1G for my Stich. My Stich is 4 years old and I was getting pretty tired of the leaking crotch syndrome. So this is a replacement for it and if I get 8 years out of it, that's only $250 a year.

So if I'm going to be riding with Kepple out west of San Diego this coming weekend, the Adventure suit might be a good option considering the forecast??

The Adventure suit would be perfect for riding this weekend. Currently NOAA says chance of showers both Sat and Sun. Riding with Kepple you might want some extra armor.

When you flying in?

Ridden with Kepple 2 years ago, but it was on HP2's and GS's around the Mojave, looking forward to riding with him and his son on Husky's!

I fly into LA Friday lunch time and take the rentacar straight down to Alpine I think, might stop off at Uptite HSQ to say hey if time allows. Chances are if I take the ADV suit, it will also be my gear for the Ducati Diavel dealer ride on Monday in LA, which has a 60% chance of rain.
