Rella - Any recent visits?

Haven't had a chance (more correctly - been able) to get over that way in quite a spell, so was wondering if any of the WV/local inmates have been by there to see how Rella and Jeaneace are doing. Haven't seen any recent posts, so was just curious. Luv those two and hope everything is okay.

No I haven't.
If winter stays away and I can get some stuff done here at home I plan to take a ride down that way.

Unfortunately not since the painting party. Use to be a quick 90 minute trip down from Clarksburg, but now it's 2-1/2 hours + each way and more with traffic.

About the same for me.
Think it's about 230 miles round trip.

Yeah, about 5 hours for me...... ~244 miles, some of which include gravel roads (Hacker valley Road) between Pickens and Rte. 20 to her place.

Bums me out that I haven't been able to get over there.

Someone asked about her and Jeaneace on anther forum, so was just curious if anyone had been by there.

We are supposed to get one warm day this week.
Before highs are back in the 30s.

I'll try and get down to check on her.

Anyone else in?

If I head south tomorrow, I'll report back. I'm up in the air as to where I'm heading tomorrow now that the rain has been removed from the forecast. Might head down rt. 20. Might head to Hellbenders for a burrito. Might ride to Cass. Dunno, I guess I'll figure it out in the morning.

Not looking good for me making it today.
Rain and 42 right now, and I need to talk to a guy about a job.

Even tho I know it's going to ruin my free time.

Took a ride today and everything is good at Rella's

Burger and fries were great, pie fridge is stocked.
Except for one piece of peanut butter

I was the first rider of the year

She is having a Ramp dinner there on April 11.

In case anyone is interested.

That's great to hear. I logged on to let everyone know that I rode down there yesterday (around 1:00 pm). The parking lot was empty, the lights were out and the door was locked. No notes or hours posted. I was going to say that it was either too early in the season,or that she might not be opening up this year.

Maybe I was a day too early.

She might have had to step out for a minute or something.
I get there at 2, left about 3 and got rained on from Pickens to home.

My jacket is pretty waterproof, my pants are not.
They are hanging on the porch and water is still dripping out of them.

That's good! I called her today, but the number was disconnected. I got worried.

I'll find it in a bit.

I was calling to inquire about her ramp dinner since I'll be doing a trip there soon, but you covered that for me! Still, it's probably good to post the new number bc the one i found online hasn't been updated.
