It's a dual sport ride ( not race ) held end of summer/fall every year.

I think it sold out in less than a day last year. They opened it up to online registration instead of mailing in the form and it worked out well.

I've heard it is. I think they have sections that the big bikes can go around. Or you can just let it roll! what could possibly go wrong?

I hate to admit it, but that is my back up plan. I'd like to support the cause, but after all 90 some % of this is run on public roads so they can't keep you off of them.

You obviously don't know how bad I am on a bike.

That and the fact that I don't have nobblies and would have to use the Anakies....

Yeah, what could possibly go wrong!!!

You can do all but the alternates on a big bike. Hell, quite a few of the trails we've all ridden before, though they do open up quite a bit and the organizers also procure permission from landowners to ride a bit on some private land. I did about 30 miles of it last year before the guy I was riding with got bit hard. Totaled his 1200 and his ankle.

So there you have it Rabbi, what could go wrong, no worries... If I'm around then I might be inclined to throw the KLR into the mix too.
