Glad to spark some nice creative topic.

How about If you guys want to take it even farder, How about a Industrial hydrolic "Power take of" (they work wonders on field equipment) or even better to go with the times a diesel generator and three independent "Hub motors" for each of the wheels, with out even then need for disc brakes since the motors can act as generators at the time of slowing down..??

My self, coming from the bicycle side, Can not deal with all the Sprung and rotational mass altering the riding characteristics and the suspension performance so maybe something more complex (Yes Vernon, Complex) is require to keep all the shocks and fork happier.

Anyway please keep the ideas and the pictures coming, this is a really great topic on a forum that is far more innovative than most.

Yeah sure, my reference was to all the different versions available in the market place specially surplus and/or second hand, Sure it will take some developing time and expense but hey at least you can get it, not like the ohlins system.

In the ''Hillclimb-world'' there are more bikes with front-wheel drive. Like this:

Or this:

But if it can be made on a LL swingarm..?

If you take the ''hydraulic-idea'' to a higher level maybe you can use a single sided swing arm of a sportsbike:

This is only a simple minded draw but you could mount the upper sprocket to the swing-arm
and even make some protection for it like a plate or something. The hydraulic tube can be
repleaced for flexible steel ones?! Just shooting some idea's...
But i think that it's gonna be a very heavy construction!

Good luck with you're build! I follow this thread!

You could just use a shaft on the front, just like it is on the back.
This one doesn't show the hardware, but you can see it in action:
(The Russian caption reads "full-wheel-drive Ural in action")
