Hodads in San Diego

I am surprised no one mentioned Hodads in San Diego. It is located in Ocean Beach and I have to stop here the minute I arrive. If you order the double, you will have to have a big mouth as it is tall. Bacon is about 1/4" thick and patties are fresh and hot but not raw. 2 thick slices of tomato and a thick slice of onion. Did I mention the ranch style fries are excellent also. Not mushy like you usually find on thick cut fries. It is near the beach and there is alot of scantily clad, I mean a nice ocean view. I would eat at Hodads if the view were only a brick wall. I believe it is on Catalina. Just look for Sawed off 60's VW Bus.

In WA, my home we like to go to a restaurant in Quilicene. The name escapes me but I will post here later. But it is a bar on one side and a restaurant on the other. They also serve a Port Townsend lager that I really like but can only have 1 as I am riding when I go here. The route is along Hwy 101 and travels along hood canal. Real nice view and lots of twisties.

If you wind up in NYC, you have to try The Corner Bistro. Go early.

Okay it's been a while since I read the who thread... Anyone know how to get a Dodge Ram 3500 series rear suspension mounted on my GSA? I think I am going to need it to haul my arse home after all these amazing burgers!

The big Bear motel, Teddy Bear burger. Don't have a good pic but it's awesome and big.
Nacho supreme closest
Teddy bear burger and fries farthest

p.s. they also have the big bear burger with 2 patties but it's just TOO big to eat.

You gotta try this place, mentioned in Aerostich's (right across the bridge) website, located in Superior, Wisconsin.

where they serve up burgers like this!

MmmmmmMmmmmmm GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a pic of one at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub in Clearfield PA.
This is the 2 pounder. They're big, but there's a lot of better tasting burgers out there.

You get truly excellent burgers at Joe's Farm Grill, in Gilbert, AZ. All fresh, local ingredients of very high quality. And have a shake with it, with whatever fruit is in season - they grow the ingredients on the farm behind the restaurant.

And then you have the Heart Attack Grill in Chandler, AZ, where you go for the spectacle (yes, that is their work uniform):

Kuma's Corner, Chicago, IL. Be warned, it's not for the faint of heart or the easily offended. On the upside they have Jack Daniels on tap.

Here's the food network's take on it.
