I saw a thread over the parallel universe forum about they always break where they are soldered to the grip or something, included how to fix it.

Yea that is what I am going by.... unfortunately it just says unplug them and remove screws.

Prolly on the back side there is a tab like on you fuel pump connectors Post up the link, Maybe your missing some little detail

Bean, if you need heat for your garage, I have a 200K btu propane heater you can borrow. It sounds like a jet engine when it's wide open, and will drink a 20lb bottle pretty quick, but it will make your garage warm FAST.

They were fastened onto the grip in the back... once popped off I could see the catch that needed released on the back

![]() ![]() In this pick you can see the tab (green Circle), Wich will be on the back sde of the connectors... first try to slide the whole connector assembly up or down to release it from the mounting tab (red cicle) oops too late

Rog, before going any further, measure for batt voltage on the bike side of the connector.
use your ohmmeter and check for continuity on the grip side of the connector. There might be an open that isn't visible.
