This place is great. Where else can you find 30 pages of info on flashlights? The only problem is I've spent 5 hours on research. I was leaning towards the Xenno 06 or 03 but the post about the ultra low function got me thinking and now I think I'm going with the Quark 123. Also this was originally going to be a gift but now I'll have to buy 2!

I have carried a Streamlight Stylus Pro everyday for about 2 years. It's well worn from rubbing up against my Leatherman Wave all day everyday in my pocket, and the rubber around the button has torn - it's just broken in. I use rechargeable AAAs in it. Great little light. I use it for something almost everyday. Durable as heck, too. Been dropped at least 50 times while working on something, usually on concrete. I paid $20 for it (amazon) Probably one of the best $20 i've spent in my 22 years.

I think I may let this be my tool kit light and try something new. Maybe something with a little more output, still uses AA or AAAs, and similar form factor. It will be an everyday pocket carry along with my Leatherman.

Any suggestions for me?

Is there any particular place that wants dead CR1213 batteries?
Or will any battery recycler know to process them special for their Li content?

I know my local transfer station has a whole bin for batteries of all sorts... they sell everything to a commodities recycler and it goes back to the general fund... so that is a win-win as far as I'm concerned...

The guys at the recycle center don't seperate them based on what type of battery they are because Li are so uncommon... but downstream, I assume they have a process to seperate them...
