Thanks!
Yeah. No oil discussion here.
I asked for tips. Not best.
I do like the KISS principle. FREE is great for something starting out.

I've already learned about turning the video off/on to make my video into smaller easy to handle files.

Have had my Go Pro HD hero 2 only one month. Have spent over 120 on bits for it to date. Man, they really get you on the extras, eh?

Thx, Moab is pretty epic place to ride.

With all the ledges there the vids can get pretty shaky.

Final cut pro has the stabilization feature, i messed with it a few times...but everything seems to work out well without it.

Yeah, it's all stabilized, some of the slow mo is zoomed in a little to show the scene a little closer, that doesn't help the clarity ether.

Nice video, looks like you all had a good time

My wife wanted me to ask if there is always that much water where you were riding?

Jon..

Thanks, I have no idea on the water situation...that was my first time riding in the area. ;)

For a simplistic video editing program for Windows, if you don't care for Windows Live, then use a freebie program called Any Video Converter. You can pull pics or play with audio as you edit the film clips. Easy enough to use and works well for me and my HERO 960 GoPro camera. I don't have a link to share, but easy to look up and download if you wish to check it out.

Adobe Premiere Elements or Sony Vegas?

Has there been any consensus on the option of these two for PC?

I read a lot of differing opinions. They're both under $100, which is my cutoff price point. I don't need a lot of special effects. Mostly looking for quick and easy.

Vegas HD platnium here.
It does seem there are 2 slightly different versions of this (non pro) version, and only a few $$`s difference in price.
AFAIK the slightly more expensive 1 of the 2 is the one you want, as it has the extra FX. If in doubt take a look at youtube to see the differences I`m on about

I love my GoPro best camera for the money.

Heres a video I did over in WVA last year, the whole thing is done with the little GoPro.

I've been using Adobe Premiere Elements. Finally starting to get the hang of it now

Richard and I made the long trip out to Roeblind Road this past weekend for a WERA race. This is kind of a long video but there is some great racing in it

Direct link if it doesn't load: http://youtu.be/MfNny6fA7Nc?hd=1
