Hi Frank,

Not that we are aware of this would have to be something custom made unfortunately.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Many Thanks,

Maybe you got lucky and got a new camera out of the deal instead of them saying you should have used a tether.

and I was corresponding with a rep that didn't know his product. lol.

I was happy they stood behind their product though!

Also, for what its worth, I scored a bunch of those mount grab bags at Target yesterday for $5 each on the clearance end cap. They had 2 left and I actually went there to get one and just happened to be on clearance. I thought...what the hell, I came here to buy 1 bag and spend $20 and bought 2 for half of the price of one!

Even better IQ then the 2, smaller lighter, built in WIFi with remote included. Can even record in 1440p. They've really upped the ante on this cam.

Odd considering the step up. 1440p vs 1080p. 60 FPS @ 1080 instead of 30. 30 FPS burst @12MP vs 10 FPS @ 11.

Now compare to Contour who just released their new Contour +2 at the same price as the Hero3 but doesn't even compare with the HERO 2 in IQ.

1440p...what will I, the average consumer, use to view 1440p quality videos on? If I was new to the go pro thing, I would likely spring for a new 3. Owning a 2, ...it doesnt really do anything for me to make a switch to the 3.

It's kinda like a iphone 4/4s comparison. If I wanted a new iphone during the 4/4s days, I would get a 4s ...if I already had a 4, I would not have ran out to get the 4s

and your other point...no other product on the market compares to the go pro.

I understand what you're saying from being a Hero2 owners aspect. Myself, I gave up on GoPros after the first ones came out. I got the Roam because it was so much easier to use then the Hero's, forsaking the better IQ. When the 2 came out I didn't feel it was worth my switching back. The 3 though is a different story.

I figured these were in the pipeline when the rebates started showing up a few months ago. Put me down for a Silver.

I have a Drift HD170 but it bit the dust when the suction cup mount let go of my RT windshield west of Roswell last spring. Drift was not sympathetic to their suction cup mount failing when used as directed, so I think I'll try a GoPro this time.
