"The motorcycle, being poorly designed for both flight and marine operation, sustained significant external and internal damage," police noted.

Yes, live a little.
FWIW, I got this mount a couple of days ago. I haven't tried fitting it to my motorcycle yet but I am sure it will provided a decent location on the motorcycle.

It actually seems pretty well built and it seems absurd to get something this decent all the way from Hong Kong for $4 shipped. I am tempted to buy about 100 of the them and flip them on ebay for $20 ea.

Anyone got any good pics or video using it?

Not so good if you've got an opaque screen...

The chesty works well if you are sitting down on your bike. But, for standing up and riding off-road - not so much. You end up getting alot of your seat and gas tank. You don't want to add alot of extensions to get the ability to point the gopro up more since it's not a really solid mount. It's just elastic and bounces around enough as it is.

This video shows the chesty for the first 2:09 then it switches to helmet cam. Works pretty well for sitting down.

This one shows the helmet cam for the first 8:27, then it switches to chesty. Watch the minute or two before the switch, then after. That'll show you what it looks like standing up so you can compare the two.

Would someone mind telling me how they edit their mp4 videos?

I have a Hero3 Silver, recorded a few movies at 1080. Tried MS Movie Maker but I get these little yellow triangles when it tries to load the video, sometimes it locks and crashes. Tried converting using GoPro CineForm Studio to AVI, but Movie Maker still gives me the little yellow triangles.

I even bought a new freakin' laptop, crap Windows 8, same damned triangles!

HELP!

I use Kdenlive. But that's probably not much use to you.

That's indicating the program can't interpet the mp4 footage (as you allready discovered) I've not had an issue pulling the mp4s into moviemaker but it doesn't like the high framerates on my system. I prefer to use Sony Vegas ($$) for it's features. Adobe makes a pretty good suite for about $80 that will get you going nicely and there's lots of guys on here using free software they've downloaded.

Hope all you GoPro guys can help me. Is there a setting on the Black that will allow you to have set timings for video to film without having to manually stop them. Something like 60 secs or similar?

Thanks
Pete

Are you trying to pick up narration, or the sound of the bike?

I just recorded this with a Sony stereo mic taped to the bottom rear of my helmet, out of the windstream. It sounds pretty good if you're trying to capture exhaust sounds:

Don't know how to embed the video, so you'll just have to click it.

That sounds quite good. Of course 95% of the numbnuts out there would put some sort of annoying soundtrack on the video so we couldn't hear the motorcycle.
