Meteor Motorbikes Service/Repair in Berkeley CA.
Hey hey! We've opened a new service and repair shop in Berkeley, CA. for all you 510ers who are tired of hauling to the city to get your bike worked on. We work on pretty much anything metric except for BMWs(don't hate 'em, just not our wheel house). WE DO NOT FIX HARLEYS...NO!NOT EVEN SPORTSTERS. We're not solely an adventure shop, but we LOVE adventure riding and have a ton of experience servicing bikes in this category. We have a significant amount of dealer experience working on KTMs especially, and are well versed in their "idiosyncrasies" (water pumps, swollen fuel tanks, crash bars, farkle installation etc...). We also dig Stroms, Teneres, and KLRs and pretty much anything else you can strap a tent and a GPS to.
We offer a 20% discount on parts and labor to all ADVrider inmates as well as "Drop everything" service for traveling inmates who are passing through. We offer free towing within 20 miles of our shop (that's 10 miles more than the average non-inmate sucker-fish). To redeem these mind bending discounts and services, simply mention your inmate tag or brandish your fyyff sticker (which ever comes first) and we're off to the races! Anywhoo, check out our website for even more info on who we are and what we do. If you have any questions or comments, hit us up here or on our site. We are in a tiny space that's a bit tricky to find, so calling or emailing for an appointment usually works best. 510-545-3738 service@meteormotorbikes.com http://meteormotorbikes.com

Haha, sorry buddy. Rules ARE made to be broken sometimes though. We can do basic stuff with the GS (oil changes tires etc.), just nothing requiring the computer. Truth be told, my R90S was one of my favorite bikes, and we'd be happy to work on that too. You're also always welcome to come by for a cup o' joe and some bench racing too if you're local. Thanks! |
