Got my Trail Stand in the mail a couple of days ago. Even though I tried to confuse the USPS with an abbreviated address, Steve clarified quickly and I had the stand the next day. Much more compact than I had anticipated yet able to jack both ends of the 500 EXC.....you'll be pleasantly suprised at the small packing size and finish (no rough edges etc.).

Thanks again! You and everyone else that owns a Trail Stand is supporting a small U.S. business and I really appreciated it.
(It's getting hard to even find a U.S. manufacturer of anything these days.)
No, thank you!

Always more than happy to help out a small business!

I can't wait to get it, I'm also supposed to get some front sprockets in the mail on saturday. Maybe I'll get to use the stand to swap them out!

Got it Pete! It will be on it's way today.

Yes please let us know when you get it, I am interested too. It should get to the UK in less than a week but the question is how long after it hits customs will it get to you? I've had stands delivered in Australia in less than 1 week but it does vary.

This looks like the device I have been looking for to put in my tool tube. You should have received my Paypal payment with a Dulles Virginia mailing address just a little while ago.

I look forward to trying this out!

I bought the Trail Stand prior to riding the TAT. It was an invaluable piece of equipment! I kept it accessible at ALL times by attaching it to my rear rack and keeping the base/bracket/velcro in my pocket.

Unfortunately I lost (or maybe had it stolen) in MX. You won't believe how useful the stand is until you no longer have it. Steve is shipping me a replacement stand in Colombia for the South American leg. I'll post pictures there.

Seriously, great piece of equipment.

Hillbilly

Got it Home Brew!
It fits in the tool tube no problem, I like to wrap the strap around the stand and then THROUGH the bend of the cradle like shown, this way it can't slide out of the strap either way. Your Trail Stand will be on the way first thing Monday! Thanks for the order!

I have a question for you! I've been meaning to try home brewing for while now, got any advice for a newbie? I would love to brew a Sam Adams Octoberfest taste-a-like.

Glad to hear you got the order - I look forward to receiving the stand!

If you want to start brewing, I suggest using premade recipe kits at the beginning. I have always had good luck and great service with midwest supplies - http://www.midwestsupplies.com/. There are several good sources out the on the Internet though.

Hey Hillbilly!
As you know it shipped several days ago, for international shipments the label number that is given doesn't work like a tracking number since the USPS can't track it once they hand it of in the country of destination. But usually it goes threw quickly so hopefully it will get to you without delay. Please let me know when you get it.

I hope your trip is going well, it quite and adventure and I'm looking forward to reading about it, have you had much time to update your ride report? I know it would be tough for me to do it during a trip also so let me know when you do have updates.
I hope your trip continues to go well, what is your destination?
You've got a lot of miles to cover so ride safe!
Steve

Initial reaction when opening the mail box.

"That can't be my trail stand. There's no way it can fit in that little box. (opens the box) Holy crap it IS the trail stand!"

Can't believe it packs so small! Very high quality stand, I'm highly impressed. Well worth the money, if you are thinking about getting one stop thinking about it and GET one!

Thanks hmmwv15! The Trail Stand not only packs up small it still can support the tallest bikes front or rear! It's small, lightweight (10 oz.) and strong.

And remember you can store it however you want to, as in the pic below.

1. Pinned completely together with Zero loose parts.

2. Cradle removed and held in place by the front brake strap with the foot remaining screwed in place.

3. Cradle and Foot removed to make it fit in the smallest of spaces.

And don't forget you get the velcro front brake strap which is like a parking brake for your bike when working on the rear wheel, it significantly improves stability and with the Trail Stand it's included!

Well, that's about as good as it gets .................. 8 days from ordering and the posty knocks on the door with a very small box marked USPS.
Looks fantastic, in fact the product is a good as the customer service. Can't remember having said that for a long while.

Cheers
Pete
