Had some good fortune recently - For a while we have wanted to get some of the pics on this thread blown up on canvas to adorn the walls of the flat..... after looking around - Tesco 'on line' were found to be the best price at £100 each for large canvases. When they launched a special 'half price' offer for Christmas (£50 each) it was too good to miss and we ordered three.......... the good news though was that, because the offer was oversubscribed, Tesco was unable to meet the Christmas deadline and delivered the canvases two weeks late ....... but as an apology they refunded ALL our money ....and gave us a fourth canvas free! That's £400 of canvases for £0! - Result!
Good old Tesco! - 'Every little helps'.
Pics look really good too on the walls ..... the pics below don't really do them justice, but you get the idea.

Picked this one because it reminds me of that best feeling ever ... getting ready to leave on a sunny Sunday morning for a full day's rideout with friends -

Picked this one ....sunset through grass, taken up at the beaches near Arisaig because I like the colours and it reminds me of a great trip.

and I had to have one of Tails, who sadly died last year, and left a large hole in our lives ....but at least he's still kind of with us, in a small way, every day, in this pic on the wall.

As for getting fit after my heart attack ...Sarah and I are getting out cycling at the weekends, 21 miles last weekend (including two punctures!) and 10 miles the week before .... nothing too extreme, - but boy did my ass ache afterwards - those modern 'saddles' are tiny! Lol! .....

Two wheels - but no engine!

Very much enjoy your pictures and your words. What a gorgeous place Scotland is! I am sorry about the loss of your beloved Tails. I am also very happy for you that you got such a great (FREE) deal on your canvases. You have a wonderful eye.

Keep up the good work and enjoy every day on two wheels..both motorized and non!

Jill

Thanks Jill I love that you enjoy the pics ... I have a lot of fun taking them ...but it's a great bonus to know that others like them.
Cheers again for taking the time to post to say so. It's much appreciated.

It's always sad to take a dog or cat to the vet to be put down, I took our dog along & he looked at me with his sad eyes as he got the injection...just broke me up.
At least you have a great photo of "tails" to remind you of him & happier times.

I was not trying to highjack the thread at all & made a joke of it, I thought kamchat was showing off Scotland via lots of great photos & as the riding in the north of the UK is still a few weeks away a few short videos of riding in Australia would be in order to keep the thread alive.

I don't think there was any need to carry on in the manner in the above posts, sorry kamchat rest assured I won't highjack this thread with photos or videos but will continue to read this thread & enjoy the fine photos posted.

Cheers Terry
