..thanks ! ... but as I have said before I know very little about photography and just point and shoot ... half the time I don't even know what is in the frame as I am watching the road ahead. So I am no 'master photographer'..... I just know what I like the look of..... but that's about the limit of my 'photography skills. But I do love taking pics ..maybe that is what you can see

Apart from the Guzzis there were a few other interesting bikes at the loch...This Husky for one..

After lunch because the usual road down to Moffat was closed we had to take a diversion on a small single lane track over the top of the hills to the A701......

Maybe it's just me, but that looks like a paper airplane on the front fender!

I bet it's a hoot to ride though! Great pics as always. The single lane road looked like a lot of fun too.

bubu, I think that also an MV Agusta F4 (1000s?) should be classified as a great bike for big riders

It's not a big bike! it is not a big heavy four cylinder like the others...

Thanks, that front 'mudguard is very 'distinctive' .. I guess it must work ok though.
As for the single track lane ... yes, and it got more fun as it started to wind it's way down some steep declines to the reservoir below ... these pics don't really do it justice....

Narrow road, sheep and cars .... not the best combination to exploit the maximum fun from a 1000cc sportsbike...

However the A701 down to Moffat IS the perfect road to enjoy a 1000cc sportsbike on ...and we did ..unfortunately I put the camera away to fully partake of the experience.

At moffat it was time for afternoon tea...... they do have sheep too but this one doesn't move much!

...just watches over the bikes from 'on high'.

Quite a few other bikes about ...this Aprilia RSV4 tagged along with us for the return 'blast' back up the A701 ....
