That's a nice collection of bikes you have ..... Love the LC ..looking mint yet it must be about 30+ years old? I remember my first ride on an LC - it was a test ride at a Yamaha 'Open Day' ..and it was the first time I ever did a wheelie (unintentionally) ....it left a big impression on me.

I hadn't realised that the thread had just passed it's 2 year anniversary ..well spotted! How time flies when you are having fun.

Awesome stuff! ... Glad you and your son had a great day on the Waverley..... As for getting paddle steamers 'mixed up' - Lol! It's an easy mistake.

Of course there is plenty of spectacular scenery further south in our usual 'stamping grounds' too...this was taken on the same trip ..just north of Tyndrum from the A82

At 27 he has never showed any interest in anything mechanical with one exception, at age ten I let him drive a 9 ton Thwaites all drive dumper.
He was mesmerised by the steam engine, kept disappearing for another look
He now wants to go on a few more trips, and if possible on the Waverley to the Hebrides, I really will try to make that happen next time the trip is available.

The Jota was another one of my boyhood 'dream bikes' ...never did get to ride one ...that one looks slightly odd ...I think it is down to the headlight having being dropped lower.
