No problem, I will try next time I see the bike ...although it may be a while now (we are all but done for this year with winter knocking on the door.... so it may not be till next spring. Also Jimmy has three bikes - ZZR1400, the Triumph and a MV F4...so again it depends on which one he turns up on when we next meet).

Big thumps up on Jimmy's triumph, i like it lots, thinking of maybe treating myself to a new/newer bike next year and a triumph is at the top of my list at the present time, on a bike note must also mention 5cotty's 250lc, this picture brought back very fond memories of the early 80's for me, in the 80's i owned 3 lc's and a ypvs but my first love was my bog standard blue and white 250lc, isn't nostalgia great!!, you can just blank out the bad days and remember the good ones, ha ha!!!.

Great stuff as always mate.

Cheers. Keith.

Thanks mate. Hope to see you up here in spring. ..the thread will probably go a bit quiet over the winter ...but will see what weird weather we get ...it's been all over the place this year so who knows - maybe we will get some 20C days in Nov! Lol! (It happened in March! - so anything is possible).

Took this in a bar in Ulapool a few weeks ago - they seemed to have a decent choice of whiskys (I counted about 70)

You may be interested to know - the Waverley is back home..... she arrived back in Glasgow late on Saturday night for her winter 'hibernation' - but not before doing one last trip for the year on Sunday...... Sarah took her parents for a sail on her and being the last of the year she was fully loaded!...I took some pics on the day ....

leaving Glasgow Science centre -

I got this one looking down from the Erskine Bridge 40 mins later ...

As luck would have it Sarah and her parents took this one looking up from the boat at the same time ...you can see my silhouette on the bridge Lol!.....

and her 'reversing' out of Helensburgh.....

I have included a couple of photos 33yrs apart but somethings remain the same...I still have a Honda & my mate still has a Yamaha, we still ride together...bit of a break during various stages in life, we both ride road & dirt so I hope this is not off topic.

Cheers Terry

Well, with airfare, a pint is pretty expensive!

It's less of a 'garage with home comforts' ...and more like a 'home...with a bike in it!'...... Sounds great.

It's a 'small world' indeed..... although that does look a bit larger than the bar I remember. ...but I could be wrong (I often am! Lol!)

The bar we were in was the 'Ceilidh Place' .
