To quote the classic Guinness advert - 'good things come to those who wait' .... I'm sure your rideouts will be all the sweeter for that extra anticipation.

Few more of the new pics from Sunday ...

Graeme's 999s Ducati - now with black wheels (he painted them during the winter) ...

I don't know if this question has been asked in previous posts....forgive me if it has........If some "Big Kids" from across the pond want to come play in your back yard....What are the Cycle Rental options.......Are there any well stocked bike rental outfits in Scotland ?

I have to agree that Frank's shots are awesome .. even to be just mentioned in connection with his work is high praise indeed - so thanks again!

Regarding hire bikes in Scotland ...yes it is possible ... this company do sportsbikes and say they can deliver them anywhere in Scotland. I have never used them (having a bike here already!) so obviously can't vouch for them.

I also know that 'West Coast Cycles' in Glasgow hire out Harleys .... and I am sure there will be other companies hiring bikes too. let me know if you want more info on other companies.

Another one of Kevin on his R6 ..in Kilmahog..

I had to laugh.... It's all in your perspective, isn't it?

I got my bike out yesterday for the first time in 2.5 months and within a mile the *yips* overcame my better judgement and I had already broken a couple of traffic laws... Easy now, still a lot of sand and crap on the roads...

Doug -

Cheers .... yep ... the problem with the gixxer is it doesn't just break the law and speed limits ... it annihilates them with a mere flick of the wrist ...... and then urges you on to glory .... it's a bad influence.

Last pic from Sunday ... stopped just outside Port of Monteith to put the camera back in the rucksack and get my glove back on - my hand was freezing ... Dan stopped with me ...

Managed our second rideout of the year on Sunday .. it was still cold and plenty of salt on the roads ..but the sun shone on us.

One of our mates had just taken delivery of a new KTM RC8 ... lovely bike ..and very distinctive looks ... awesome 'angular orangeness' :-

One 'happy bunny'

A short while later

From Sunday the 14th's rideout .... 'road-works provide a brief chance to have a chat' ... I never understand what is said during these, as being partially deaf ..and wearing a helmet .. with the noise of bike engines ticking over in the background ... I just nod and smile.

...not long before normal service is resumed ...

And a few from last week ...

Coming down the twisty A82 along the side of Loch Lomond .. incredibly this windy narrow road is the main tourist route north to the highlands ... in summer it has plenty of coaches to squeeze past!
