Yesterday ... unfortunately the day didn't start without drama ... one of the group wacked their rear wheel rim on a wee ramp in the roadworks on the A81 south of Aberfoyle. Due to the terrible winter there are a lot of roadworks going on to repair the damage.

When I say he 'wacked it' I'm not kidding - his tyre deflated ..and check out the size of the 'dink' in the rim!

After a good workout for the heart ..what could be finer than fish n chips 'al fresco' in Oban .

...

..before having to do it all again in the reverse direction ..... it's a hard life! Lol! ...

This was at the Carbeth last weekend .... even had a remote starter ..so the bike started up before the owner got to it by a remote clicker. Flash git!

We were out this afternoon ..down to Hein Gericke were Triumph were having a 'demo day' ..so it would have been rude not to take one for a spin ..I wanted to try the huge Rocket3 but that wasn't there, so we opted for the Tiger 1050.....

It's a nice bike ..good for town work and comfy for the pillion, very confy over potholes and bumps ... handles quite well too..... gearbox was a bit 'notchy' and the mirrors give a view a good view of your elbows.... overall a nice bit of kit ... but it ain't no gixxer.

afterwards we wandered down to Ducati Glasgow ... they have put a full Termi system on the Diavel demo bike ...man, you should have heard it being revved - 'spine tingling'

Where did it happen? On the Stockie? that looks like the Carbeths car park.

2 came off on the other forum, 1 of them is in a real bad way.

Kinda glad I hurt my back so I can't go out, everyone is falling off.
