The power button has a bit of a depression around it; makes it easier to operate. I don't usually bother with the half press while riding. Point it, press the button, hold for a second, repeat.

Interesting. I was under the impression that doing that would result in slightly less focused pictures.... (but then as mentioned before, - I know very little about photography........ I'll need to give it a try )

BTW, I was looking forward for your Sunday ride eagerly & its just 2 pics??? Looking forward for more pics; pls don't disappoint

I love fall colors on the trees & when I witnessed that in US, it was mind blowing scenic; we don't get to see much here in India, so pls...fall, bike, rides are best combo offer you can give us

Thanks Aargee ..... ok, some more pics from Sunday's ride (sometimes I worry that they are a bit 'alike' ... and I don't want to bore folk)

.... but here goes :-

Gordon and his R1 behind an old MG ....

Dave on his GSXR750 ...and a Land Rover Discovery ....

The A84 snakes it's way north around the edge of Loch Lubnaig...

Roads that follow the sides of Lochs are nearly always good for bends .....

A few miles north and we turn east along another Loch - Loch Earn ....

Which is just as 'bendy'.....

Some more from Sunday .... we didn't get out till nearly mid day as, although it was dry it had rained in the night and now temps are down it took all morning for the roads to start drying out.

We had lunch in Crieff ...... Dave chatting to a lady that turned up on another GSXR750, she appeared to have dyed her hair to match the bike - copper. It's a fitting tribute ..and we expect Dave to turn up next week with golden locks.

Stevie waiting ....

My trusty steed - still in one piece ...

Once we are full, - it's time to fill the bikes :-

Can't understand how you say your pics are same, same. The last set are fantastic, just great to see some of the countryside and villages you pass through. Keep it up.....

And I couldn't agree more - autumn ist just gorgeous, when you are in the right place. Sure the Central Belt is one of those places. Can't wait to see it...
