Stick the the case in the oven or bbq and slowly heat it up, bearing side down and gravity will plop the bearings out onto the cookie sheet. the aluminum expands more than the steel. 250-300 degrees

theres a cool video of husaberg assembly line where the cases are sitting on simple hot plates and the ladies just drop the cold bearings in, kerplunk. no press or tool, just gravity

I have heard of heating the whole case upside down too....even says to do it that way in the pdf manual I have. The issue is there are about 4-5 other bearings and seals in there that I do not want to drop out or be melted(seals).

10 minutes at dealer and $20 later( lunch money) and , stuck old bearing case is out, and new bearing is installed. As usual, my dealer does right by me.

so far we've found....

cylinder was already off, but base of jug had silicone on it

powervalve cover had no gasket and plenty of silicone

powervalve lift arm stopper was MIA, and has been run without it, pv had been up against piston for long time

water pump impeller bolt is MIA, flat washer was there, and the impeller is stripped

kick starter is gone, and retainer bolt is broken off in shaft

rear wheel spoke missing and spokes are very loose

front and rear wheel bearings are shot

swing arm bushing at shock is wornout

lower chain roller is shot along with chain

PV cover does not get a gasket..silicone per manual. there should be 4 little orings in there though.

no wonder why you got such a deal.
