Germans generally speak good English. The guy who responded to me signed the mail with an Indian name, hence my deduction. Also, the respond time has been the worst I have experienced.

So far, so good. This was in my emails when I got to work (in Australia) this morning. 6.5 hours from order to despatch (assuming they have despatched it).
The money is out of my Visa account, so it all seems to be on track.
Will keep you posted.

And on the other side of the coin mine hasn't gone passed the "viewed" stage for two days since ordering.

Hey Swimmer,
Maybe it's my Deutscher heritage.
My mother's family emigrated from Prussia to Australia in the 1840's.
Hope your luck improves. (Hope my luck stays with me....)
I remember when I was waiting for my boots, I just used to look at pictures of them on Google Images and drool; it was like waiting for Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas, I was talking to a long distance trailer truck driver friend the other day, and asked how he was getting along. He replied "Great; only 3 more sleeps to Christmas".
Cheers
Tim

Make sure they take off another 19% as that is the VAT in the EU.

I bought an Airoh S4 helmet off them a few months back - took about 3 weeks to get to NZ, sharp price & cheap shipping, I'd deal with them again.

Cheers

Arrived In Australia

I ordered and paid for my Rev'it Jacket on 27 September. It arrived in Adelaide today, as described and well packaged.
I'm 2 from 2 with this mob now.

I'm setting myself up to be the ADV Guinea Pig here.
My Rev'it jacket arrived after 3 weeks, perfect condition but marginally too small for me.
I've sold it on the Aussie Fleamarket tonight, so I'm ordering a larger one.
Will keep you posted.

If you wanted to be the real guinea pig you would have tried to exchange it through fc-moto and let us know how that went.

Fortunately for me Rev'it is a relatively rare brand in Australia, so when I listed it on our Fleamarket yesterday morning, I had 6 offers by the close of work, and I got back exactly what I paid for it. SIgnificantly less hassle, and someone else down here gets to enjoy a great jacket.
Also, I'm adventurous but not insane......it never occurred to me to attempt to return it for credit on a new one. I know my limitations.
Cheers

Well I may go where no man has gone before if my jacket doesn't fit when it shows up.

Or in the words of L.E.G. Oates, a member of Scott's Antarctic Expedition, prior to leaving the shelter of the tent to go to his death " I am just going outside and may be some time."

However, from the same expedition, you might take strength from;
"To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield." [Carved on the cross on Observation Hill to memorialize Scott's polar party. From Alfred Lord Tennyson's Ulysses.]

Gee, we're real advernturers, aren't we?

The jacket I ordered arrived a few days ago. It took a long time to get here. The 1st reason was that the pants I ordered with it were not in stock and that the manufacture could not deliver any until early November. They never told me that but once I found out (2 weeks later) I told them to just ship the jacket. They did ship the jacket promptly but it sat with DHL in Germany for about 2 weeks before it make the trek across the pond and then it took about another 7 days for it to arrive. Without the delay with DHL and the pants the order would have arrived pretty quick. I think the DHL delay is pretty standard. I would order from them again but make sure what I wanted was in stock or quickly available from the manufacture. Good place to get something if what you are looking for is not available in the US.

I have ordered from them locally and can't really confirm the previous positive reviews.

Overall my orders took very long to be processed and their prices are not all that great. They also messed up one order and it was a real hassle getting everything straightened out. Not very responsive to emails. Haven't ordered from them since and honestly haven't looked back...
