Yes, put ALL you gear on, including Camelback/backpack and weigh yourself. You will need that info for spring (front & rear) selection. Also, PC has a info sheet that they have you fill out with what type of riding and problems you have with the existing suspension.

Don't try and save $$$, get both new springs AND revalving. I got the 'anti bottoming cones' for the front forks as well.

+1,000 on getting the suspension setup.

If you ride for fun "hard", or race, you are absolutely missing the single key ingredient beyond rider training that will help your riding if you don't get the suspension setup for your weight and riding style. Before/after is like finding religion.

Bear in mind a 200lb A class rider has a different setup than a 200lb C class rider on the exact same bike. FYI.

Check with Javi (Trailtricks) for your suspension. http://trailtricks.com/ He rides with the group and does some rides you may want to do, lots of singletrack.

As soon as I get the 400 back together I'm going racing too.

As far as suspension on the BRP goes, mine was Precision Concepts. Amazing. Simply amazing. A friend had a stock 650 and we switched bikes on a ride just to see the difference. I had to throw rocks at him to get him off my bike he liked it so much!! (Being very careful not to hit my own bike mind you...) More than ince I thought I was going to kill myself and the suspension just soaked it up and left me laughing!!

Just go with the shop in Riverside, NOT El Cajon. It's closer to you anyways.

I have no video of the race.... however! I do have a guy donating a GoPro camera for my second race.

If you're talking about the post race interview, ill be done with it tonight or tomorrow.....
