They're not the quickest bunch up here. I do see some DS's here and there, but usually it's the GS bunch passing through. I do keep seeing a DR200 near the house, however.

![]() But, he doesn't ride bikes...he's more of a go-kart guy I used to ride Pickett as much as possible when I had my 4wheeler, been tempted to take the 650 up there but I have just as much fun on it locally.

After dismissing my grand plans of running across our play area and dropping the tag in Wayne County, I brought it a little closer to home. Close enough for you Troy? ![]() Yes it did, very much so. I thought I might go with a slightly taller windshield initially, but after today, I think it's just about right now. Gotta do something about the seat and the clutch pull/placement. Left hand is cramped up right now. |

I had a really bad feeling when I saw a green KLR going the other way.
![]() btw, 4.5 hours for me (one way) on the scenic route. 400 miles today. Oh well I had a great time!

I THOUGHT that might be you! I actually saw the disappointment in your wave when I passed you and had half a mind to turn around and go back to catch you.
I had actually grabbed the tag over an hour before I saw you, but had to wait 45 minutes to get my three tacos at the Mexican place. 424 miles for me, on the way out I took the scenic route, on the way back I jumped on the interstate for 90 miles or so. I've owned the KLR for 12 days and have 800 miles on it, I've owned the XT for 1.5 years and have 7200 on it. I'm doing the Natchez next month. sandalscout screwed with this post 04-22-2012 at 06:13 PM |

yep it's a temp tag, just had my 600 mile service done last week. Not an AE, they don't offer that one anymore. I've got about 1360 miles on it after yesterday. The FJR continues to impress. We made the run from the far side of Pickett County back to Columbia on the interstate as much as possible. We are over 80mph most of the way... ![]() ![]()
