.....

although a polarising figure himslef, i'd hate to see them swap back to a conventional 4wd type setup.
just like in the other classes, the more varied the machines the better, i reckon.
viva la difference

well... if the bikes are going to be 450cc for a more even competition, i think the car category should follow suit where everyone is on 4x2 and 2L engines.

Wot??? isn't this going to bring an even field, lower the cost of competition in this tough market and help other competitors beat the multi-million dollars camps?

Hummer is no longer an option for RG as GM have dropped the brand all together. He owns a sponsor driven "company" and will race whatever his sponsor pays him to race.

His Hummers this year were an evolution of his previous efforts; lighter & narrower. I expect his next effort to be an expansion of that program.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a similarly spec'd Chevy (or Toyota) of some sort as his Hummers really are just custom buggys with body on top.

Lol, RG in a Toyota?!?! And sorry to disagree on another point but he certainly won't be just driving what his sponsors want him to drive.

"That's enough cars (Pick up trucks!)" - Ed.

I thought those of you who followed me on Heroes-Legend last year might like to see a few more photos of the Tenere in action? - so I've started another thread here:

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...7#post12355747

I'm just downloading a few more photos of the other competitors etc.

Hey Bluebull -

[Electronic] Fuel Injection... rather than a carb which most enduro bikes still use... including the bike [machine] I've just bought...

EFi automatically adjusts the fueling for different altitudes, whereas a bike jetted for sea level will start to struggle over 10,000ft for example...
