V-Strom Handguard Extensions

Hey guys! I've been working on this for a while and I'm finally ready to start shipping them. These are extensions for the 2004 and newer OEM V-Strom handguards. They will fit both the Vee and the Wee. They extend the wind protection up top and close off the open bottoms of the handguards. They can be attached with 1/2" 3M double sided tape (recommended), Velcro, dual lock, or you can drill holes and bolt or rivet them on. The extensions are made of .093" Kydex, which is EXTREMELY tough and looks really nice. Most who have seen them couldn't tell that they weren't OEM pieces.

The price is $60 + $10.70 Priority Mail shipping (2-3 day delivery) anywhere in the US. International shipping will be calculated based on your address. The kit comes with four pieces, uppers and lowers for both sides. Just PM me if you're interested and feel free to ask questions on this thread.

Those look nice, indeed. One more thing added to the list of stuff I 'need'. Said list never shrinks but always grows.

Rode the Strom in this morning - first ride with the new extensions. Thought it would be a better test but it wasn't too cold - about 28 degrees. Made a huge difference, though. Once I got going the extensions really kept the wind off and I backed the electric gloves way down from what they usually would have been set at. Great work.

I'll try for some pictures this weekend!

I am interested in some of these guards but War Hammer seems to have gone off the radar. Hopefully he is on a long adventure ride somewhere. If anyone knows, I'd love to get in touch with him.
