Laugh just stumbled upon this thread.....

my first Conni....got me back into "doing it"...
this was when I first got it..

shortly thereafter:

time to start over again....
a little while later.....123456.7

wonderful machine....

this bike took me to great places..

twins?

what a beauty...

it made me build this....

alas...all great things must be shared,
the new owners picking up "Touch Of Gray", but it goes to another COG member..

farwell my favorite bike...godspeed....138,000+ miles, and solid as a rock

why did I sell it? well, I don't rightly know....but I had to make some room

for the one on the far end....
and to share the experience, hoping to see it on the road someday, with a smiling rider proud to be with it....

best part about it..?
meeting people like these...and having fun.....priceless...

God willing, in 20 more years, I'll start the "New Conni" thread...

ride safe y'all....

Man of Blues, that is a great story in picture of your Concours. Thanks for sharing. Someday I hope to add a C-14 to my garage..

Yes. They rock. I can't give any mileage numbers because I'm still on my first set, but when it comes to traction they beat the Avons and Dunlops hands down. Especially in the wet.

Any time. One of the things I really like about them is the Connie doesn't seem to have enough lean angle to require warming these tires up before dragging a peg.

The son of a buddy of mine is still riding it daily with well over 100k miles on it.
Are you using the GIVI wingrack or the happy trails rack? If the latter then what rack is the trunk mounted to?

If you don`t belong to COG and own a Concours (shame on you)
Yes i`m going to join again even though i DON`T own one , as there are some benefits & you sure do meet some great people & man do they ride.

Hey Concours....

Tell me everything you know about those bars. Even with the bar-raisers mine are too low for long term comfort.

thanx !
